John W. Tulac, Attorney at Law, specializes in international business transactions, international payments, and energy law. Mr. Tulac is highly experienced in the negotiation and documentation of international transactions and projects throughout the world. Mr. Tulac works closely with clients and/or their general business attorneys to successfully prepare, negotiate, document, and perform international contracts. John W. Tulac is adjunct professor emeritus of business law at Cal Poly Pomona (retired), teaching courses since 1979 in international business law, engineering law, entrepreneurial law, business organizations, sales, and general business law. He is adjunct professor of law at University of La Verne College of Law (retired), teaching courses in international business law, corporations, agency, payment systems, and international commercial arbitration and mediation. He is adjunct faculty of law (retired) for St. Georges University, Grenada, teaching a course in international business law (2013-14). He is the former and founding Dean of Irvine University College of Law (1993-95).

Mr. Tulac has lectured extensively throughout the world at conferences, seminars and symposia. He presents keynote speeches and detailed briefings on the legal, business, economic and political conditions in China as well as the geopolitical risks affecting U.S. businesses.  Mr. Tulac is a regular commentator on radio on international topics.

Mr. Tulac has over forty-five years of legal experience and has handled transactions in the billions of dollars. He is recognized as a lawyer rated “preeminent” in the field of international law in California; he holds the highest rating (“a-v”) for competence and ethics from the prestigious Martindale Hubbell National Law Directory. He is a former judge pro tem, arbitrator, and mediator for the Los Angeles Superior Courts and a former arbitrator for the State Bar’s attorney-client fee dispute resolution program. He is a member of the California Bar Association. He received his Juris Doctor degree in 1977 from Loyola Law School where he was a member of the law review.
